SelamGO ("we", "our", or "the app") is an Amharic language learning app for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app accesses and how it is used.
SelamGO does not collect, store, or share any personal information. Your data never leaves your device.
The app asks for microphone access to let you practice speaking Amharic words and receive pronunciation feedback. Your voice is processed on-device by Apple's Speech Recognition framework. We do not record, store, or transmit your voice or any transcription of it.
Your learning progress — completed lessons, XP, streaks, gems, and profile settings — is saved locally on your device. This data is never uploaded to any server and is not accessible to us.
SelamGO does not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, payment information, or any other personal data. There are no user accounts and no sign-in required.
SelamGO does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. No data is shared with third parties.
SelamGO is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from children or anyone else.
If we update this policy, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
